Still she waits,
like the oldest book in the bookshop
forever browsed but never bought,
spine cracked and creased
pages stained from years of interest,
one day soon, they hope
fingers will curl around them both
and relieve the sadness
of being alone.
Secretly,
I cant help but feel needed,
Although She never says her thoughts aloud
I know that the comforting silence
and the words we no longer speak
are worth a thousand times more
than the lipstick stains,
that never fade.
The skin on her palm was red and warm
as if the blood in her veins was reaching out,
to stretch itself
ever closer
to my palm
so that every part of us
could measure the distance
and feel loved.
And until the ships sail the sea
and the waves drown the beach
we shall stay intertwined,
linked only by common longing
separated once and again,
never to come within touching distance
but always our bodies shall twist
like old vines in wild gardens.
I have recently got really into a film and movement called the Zeitgeist film/movement.
It is really interesting, especially to someone like me who is very sceptical of everything.
Check it out here : http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/
Its quite long, but well worth the watch.

I have decided to create my own holiday called Hatemas.
I hate christmas, and this way I can just have a day of hating stuff and no one can complain that I am whining or call me a Scrooge.
So I would like to wish you all a terrible fucking hatemas, as is now customary on such an occasion.
Spread the word, maybe next year I will make my own card collection.

Today we (Yearbook) wrote a new song.
It sounds really good, and has made me a bit more relaxed about writing for what will no doubt become our next EP.
Might even make an album
Depends how intense we are feeling.
Most likely another EP though.
Today I have been Ill, and have spent most of the day in bed.
Also, Practice was cancelled due to snow.
Pretty boring day all round really.
Here is a picture of a tower that my friend Daniel took, I intend to use it at some point for something.
Until then, admire away.
I have not done a whole lot today.
I have written some new bits and bobs for some new songs, I have started to come up with some ideas for a stop motion video and I have gone through lots of old pictures and videos that I took over summer.
Excellent.
Here are a few pictures from then, enjoy.
Good times.
The one on the left is the new tshirts we have had printed. The one on the right is not, but it works well.
I arrived back home in Basingstoke last night, really tired and hungry. Unfortunately the only thing available to eat was a stir fry that tasted like dirty water. My bed was more successful in satisfying my SIM like needs though and a goods night sleep was had.
Today I am nice and refreshed and spending my time writing new stuff and browsing the internet.
Huzzah!
